The more money you raise online, the more free gas you get!

Gas prices are set to rise as the summer months approach, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is providing some relief by offering free gas cards in July and August.

Now, you can earn free gas when you raise funds using your Light The Night Web page during the months of July and August. Raise $250 online, you'll receive a gas card worth $15. For every $500 you raise online, you'll get a card worth $50.*

So do something good, and get something good!

What is Light The Night Walk Save at the Pump?

It's a promotion in which online fundraisers receive a free gas card for specific levels of funds raised. "Light The Night Walk, LLS's annual evening fundraising walk, is the nation's opportunity to pay tribute and commemorate lives touched by blood cancer," said Nancy L. Klein, chief marketing and revenue officer for LLS. "The goal of finding cures is already a great motivator, and LLS's 'Save at the Pump' promotion is just an extra way to thank participants for bringing hope to patients battling cancer."

How do I get my free gas card?

During the months of July and August, raise funds using your Light The Night Walk fundraising Web page. If you raise $250 online, you'll receive a free gas card for $15; a $50 card for every $500 you raise online.* Cards will be sent to your mailing address in September when the promotion is completed.

Free Gas Savings Tips For Summer 2010

The Following free gas savings tips are ones that you have heard and ignored for far too long. So pay attention it is the last time I am going to repeat them.

1. Back Off Jack
Slow it down and stop using your brake as a foot petal on your bass drum.driving like a maniac will reduce your mileage by up to a third. Instead, change speed at sensible rates. You'll save money if you do. And keep the driver in front of you from giving you the 1 finger salute.

2. Pump it Up
Properly inflated tires are not just more efficient -- they'll last longer, too. Improperly inflated tires will decrease your gas mileage by almost 4%.

3."I Cant Drive 55"
You can and you should! Almost all cars efficiency decreases at anything over 60 mph.

4. Dont Wait for That Noise to Stop..It Wont
Take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves. Change oil regularly, maintain proper fluid levels, keep the engine clean, get the emissions tested, and stay up-to-date on tuneups.

5. Leave the Olive Oil in the Kitchen
Using the manufacturer-recommended grade of motor oil helps improve efficiency (use 10W-30 or 5W-30 as directed). It's a small gain, but if you use motor oil with an "Energy Conserving" label Al Gore will be very happy.

Ok , Ok now that you know what to do after you own the car what about buying a new one? The following free gas savings tips are for those that have saved so much money with the first gas savings tips that they have enough disposable income to go out and buy a brand new vehicle.

6. Size Matters
Smaller engines need less fuel than larger engines (for example, a 4-cylinder will require less than a V-6 or V-8), If you really feel the need for speed turbochargers can help make up the difference in power.

7. Vin Diesel It
Lingering around 3% of total sales in the U.S. diesel cars and trucks are not the rage. YET! Vin Diesel made $92 million dollars for his last movie and according to J.D. Power and Associates they predict that's exactly the number (92 million)of diesel-powered vehicles that the world will demand by 2017. (Maybe Vin Diesel will win an Oscar in 2017 too)

8. No Life Guard on Duty
Carpools can save hundreds of dollars in commuting gas a year. If your boss lets you, commute to work during off-hours to avoid sitting (and burning fuel) in traffic. Dropping the kids off at the public pool and combine errands ( the butcher, the bakery, the candlestick makery) into one trip saves time and money.

9. No Junk in the Trunk
Each extra pound of weight in your car requires more power to propel. Empty your trunk and back seat of everything you don't absolutely need , take down the bike rack, and remove the horse trailer when you don't need it.

10. I'm on Cruise Control
Not only will you look cool with your barefoot hanging out the drivers side window but cruise control prevents unnecessary surging on the highway, its also one of those features rarely used. Kind of like Picture in Picture (PIP)on your 80 inch Plasma TV.

I had fun putting these free gas savings tip together for your benefit, but I have one last one for you. If all else fails in your gas savings efforts...

10. Move
If you want cheap gas, it helps to live in towns like San Francisco and Boise, Idaho, Honolulu .Some cities have much more expensive gas than others such as Atlanta, Denver and Houston.

List Building Tools - Benefits of List Building- Submitted by Jim Roche NJ

If you're one of those internet marketers that assume list building is only for the gurus at the top of the food chain, think again.

There are actually many benefits that internet marketers of any level can enjoy from this practice.

You've been avoiding this part of your business for far too long. Consider the advantages of list building listed below:

* You can provide periodic emails with your unbiased opinion about certain products you've used or recently discovered that might benefit them in some way. Of course, you'd have your affiliate link embedded in the offer just in case a few might want to purchase the product for themselves…. CHING!
* You can begin creating your own information products and offer them a discount for being a part of your list of loyal customers… CHING!
* You can offer your services at a discounted rate for a limited time to subscribers only… CHING!
* You can inform them about new promotional materials you have for your affiliates (who… by the way earn 50% of all sales they generate) and if anyone is interested they can sign up and start promoting some of your products and services… CHA! CHING!

Always take the high road, it is a lot less crowded and much easier to navigate.

Jim Roche NJ | Adds | SoKule | to |12 Second Commute| Arsenal Submitted By Jim Roche NJ

Social media has exploded in the last few years if you haven't already noticed and Sokule is one heavy hitter, just like 12 Second Commute will be a household name... Jane Mark my words!

Internet Marketers and online business owners all over the globe have experienced the power of this monster market and as a result advertising has become big business for the social media sites.

Sokule and 12 Second Commute are hands down plain and simple good business decisions any way you look at it. If you've got an online business you need tools to manage it, you also need an easy, effective way to advertise through social media.

Both of these services are a marriage made in heaven and together with just these two services you will make your online presence seen, heard, felt and known.

If you are not using social media to advertise, you will be left behind my friend. Almost every wireless device on the planet now comes with some type of application for numerous social networks. including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace to name a few.

Sokule is giant step in evolution with the ability to send messages, updates and new posts to 42 social media websites and counting with one application, just like 12 Second Commute, everything all in one place.

Social networking has touched just about every aspect of our lives and is possibly the most significant recent contributions the internet has made to everyday life.

Sokule allows you send a post similar to the other networks but will also ping those greedy search engine spiders alerting them of the new content to help you reach more people and get more sales.

This isn't your grandmother's social network.

Sokule was designed for business and resembles Twitter in its ability to send short topical messages to not only other SoKule members (trackers) with the added benefit of posting on 42 other partner sites to unleash a powerful viral effect.

The competition is growing every day and it can be difficult to grab a potential customers attention with the overwhelming amount of information to weed through, Sokule can get your message directly to millions of people with the click of your mouse instead of just throwing your information out in the .com cosmos and hoping people see it.

Sokule much like 12 Second Commute is free to sign up and there are levels of membership that perform different functions, most marketers immediately upgrade after realizing the potential just as 12 Second Commute members upgrade to take advantage of the unlimited marketing tools for a mere $19/month.

12 Second Commute stresses the importance of list building and adding Sokule as part of your arsenal, there is no telling how big your business will explode!

Sokule even has a commission program for referrals and these pay a whopping up to fifty percent commission for anyone who upgrades to a paid membership, you can make a good profit on referrals alone.

If it sounds too good to be true, take a moment and visit the website for some more detailed information and discover how Sokule can help your business take it to the next level with social media.

Always take the high road, it is a lot less crowded and much easier to navigate.

List Segmentation | Effective Email Marketing Continued Submitted by Jim Roche NJ

Use Segmentation to Send ONLY Relevant Messages

List Building | Segmentation | 12 Second Commute | Contact Manager Does That

As a legitimate email marketer (as opposed to a SPAMMER), you know how important permission based marketing is. You know it's imperative to get permission before freely sending emails to your prospects and customers.

Unfortunately, without segmentation, you're still committing one of the greatest sins in email marketing…sending people emails they don't want to receive.

Imagine you wanted to send a promotional email for Product A. Without segmentation, you draft the email and send it out to everyone you have contact information for.

Stop blasting emails to your entire contact list! No single email will be relevant to EVERYONE on your list. But without segmentation, you have no idea who'll respond.

And, no matter how great your promotion is, no matter how fantastic your product or service is…you will only ever reach a handful of interested people. And you'll irritate or start to drive off the rest.

With each "blast" you'll get:
• A handful of interested people who like Product A and are glad you sent them an email
• A group of people who want nothing to do with Product A, or you, and flag your email as SPAM
• A few people who like Product A, but they want it in blue and you're promoting it in red
• A growing list of people who lost interest in you

Now, let's imagine a different scenario. You want to send a promotion for Product A. So you find all the customers and prospects who have recently shown an interest in Product A and send them an email.

We'll let you guess the results of a targeted email like that!

Effective email marketing requires you to know everything you can about your contacts. You should know their name, gender, email address, location, marital status and career, as well as:
• Their interests, particularly as they relate to your products and/or services
• When and what they last purchased
• Whether they open and click on emails
• Their behaviors (wouldn't you like to know if a prospect had been visiting your website?)

With these details, you always have the chance to send targeted, relevant messages. Messages that get results! That is what makes the difference between you and millions of other small business owners.

Before You Send Another Email,Consider This.Submitted by Jim Roche NJ

AS a small business owner, you're always looking for ways to close more sales and grow your business. And by now you've either adopted email marketing, or you will shortly. After all, email marketing is easy, fast, inexpensive, and, in most cases, yields the highest ROI. Which is great for you the small business owner.

However before you send another email, consider this: the majority of entrepreneurs have no idea how to use email marketing effectively. And they're losing out on thousands, even millions of dollars because of it.

You see, the truth is most small business owners will spend their time worrying about things like:

What subject lines get the best open rates?

Are there SPAM words I should avoid?

How long should my email be?

When is the best time of day to send my email? And so on

A complete list could fill the entire page. But when it comes right down to it, there is a bigger picture here that most business owners are missing. While they're busy debating subject lines, deciding how to sign their emails, and rejoicing over 1 or 2% increased response rates, other, more important issues are neglected. And that's when having never learned effective email marketing strategies, small business owners are either oblivious to the mistakes they're making, or they fight the symptoms of the problem and not the problem itself.

They believe: if open rates drop they've got to find a more responsive list or hire a copywriter to write more compelling subject lines. If no one jumps at the promotion it's because they delivered their message on the wrong day of the week. If their email messages aren't being delivered to the inbox it's time to find a new email marketing service.

Look, successful email marketing is NOT determined solely by subject lines. It cannot be achieved by just avoiding SPAM words. A defined email length will not make or break your bottom line. And long-term success has never been determined by a certain day of the week.

The majority of entrepreneurs have no idea how to use email marketing effectively.

A promotional email is sent to an existing customer-who already made the purchase at full price

A man receives an email inviting him to a Woman's Stress Management Course

A prospect signs up to be on a mailing list then doesn't hear anything from the company for 3 or 4 months

An email marketer gets more SPAM complaints than click-throughs

If you want to see real results from your email marketing efforts, then stop reading articles about the, "7 Words You Should NEVER Use in an Email." Focus on the concepts that will make a difference.

The key to creating successful, effective email marketing campaigns is tied up in 3 critical (but little known) techniques:

Tomorrow I will detail the 3 techniques you must master in order to be a successful Email marketer.

About Me

My photo
I am a full-time Internet Marketer who's goal is to earn residual income and I'm looking to work with serious, dedicated entrepreneurs who want the most out of life and will do whatever it takes to get it! I come from a small town that reinforces the idea of living within your means, staying in the safety of your comfort zone (not earning residual income), and becoming a slave to the system that has chewed so many people up and spit them out. Fortunately, I was able to overcome the pre-programming and start my own business that helps others learn and share in the freedom and satisfaction that entrepreneurship delivers. I have become a creature that preaches mindset and mission above all else. No matter what the end result is that you seek, it will never be found if you don't believe it to be attainable.
